RFNSW has adapted and adopted principles of service delivery from a number of models to best meet the needs of people with a mental illness and/or psychiatric disabilities.

We constantly monitor world best practice in mental health treatment to ensure that our services incorporate the most effective and proven strategies available.

We provide a combination of core housing and outreach accommodation that is designed to be responsive to individual needs. This has been proven to be the most effective way to provide support for people with psychiatric disabilities to be integrated into community living.

Attention is also given to locating accommodation in suburban settings close to shops, transport and community activities. Residential facilities are maintained in a manner that is consistent with community standards of living.

RFNSW has many different types of housing and support available. We are constantly seeking additional resources to allow us to offer more options from which people may choose.
